By addressing the needs of young adults, families, and seniors on fixed incomes, we can create a community where everyone who lives and works in Independence can afford to do so.

To promote transparency and ensure that all voices are heard, I’ll encourage public participation, listen carefully, and hold monthly coffees and constituent meetings. These regular gatherings will provide opportunities for community members to share their concerns and ideas, fostering an open and collaborative environment.

I know that prioritizing investments in our parks, library, museum, downtown, and neighborhoods is essential, not just for enhancing the quality of life for Independence residents, but also for driving economic growth and attracting tourism.
